Hamburg is one of the bigger MUN conferences held on the European continent, predominantly known for its in depth debates, well prepared sessions and creative solution findings. Leiden MUN has sent a delegation to Hamburg for the last few years and we are proud to say that our delegation has consistently performed with great success. Our success is in part attributed to our unique training program which provides the skills needed during MUN conferences (more info under ‘’skills lab’’).
We are looking for delegates with a variety of backgrounds. In previous years we have observed that delegates with different academic backgrounds, often come up with more creative solutions, when working in collaboration. This means that you don’t have to be a natural public speaker if you want to apply, there are other strengths at play during MUN conferences. We look for students who are motivated and eager to pursue and explore international problems.
You can apply for this delegation until the 24th of September (23.59) by sending an email with a short motivational letter (500 words) and your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org (please use “application HAMBURG 17 – NAME” in the topic line). More information regarding the preparation track, our foundation, and the selection procedure can be requested via the same email-address. The conference will take place 30th November/3rd December and the preparation track will start in the first week of October.
(The fee for this trip is €385,-)
